Welcome to the Women's Section of the Moor Hall website.
Moor Hall GC has a large and very active female membership with currently circa 85 playing regularly throughout the week.
Competitions are played on Thursday, with two Sunday competitions and one Saturday competition running monthly. This allows the members the flexibility to play their competitive golf around work and other commitments on a day and at a time that most suits them.
Moor Hall is not all about competitions and so we also have at least two fun events each month on a Thursday morning. They are extremely popular, and this is a time when we can play with friends and enjoy the fantastic social side of golf.
We play against other clubs in the Warwickshire County League. These matches give players a chance to visit other courses in the area throughout the summer.
Every year we also enter the Warwickshire Interclub Team competition and in 2022 our Moor Hall team won the Nett prize from a total of 23 clubs that entered.
Friendly matches are played against other local clubs which provides both social and competitive opportunities for anyone interested and is a chance to have fun and gain experience at the same time.
Each year we run two Women's Opens usually in May and July and both events are always well supported. They are great social events with a competitive edge, and it is also an opportunity for women from other clubs to play our fantastic course.
Additionally, we run Multi Tee Competitions mid-week and we also have a very active Mixed Section where we play Friendly matches both at home and at local clubs.
For women new to golf we also run a very successful Women's Academy and we are keen to provide support and encouragement to both new women and existing golfers from other clubs.
